I am using a 13 inch Mac Book with OS X 10.6.6, 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo, and 2.0 GB Ram.
I was repairing a partition on my Western Digital My Passport 500GB Hard Drive and Disk Utility crashed. Now the drive wont mount on my desktop, and doesn't show up in the System Profiler. When it is plugged in and turn on my computer it trys to boot from that hard drive.
I have tried resetting the PRAM, installing new drivers, using both USB ports. I don't know what else to try, and I would like some other opinions before having to pay someone to fix it if it can be.
