I have an Intel 24" I-Mac core2 and an EpsonStylus Photo R1800 printer connected by firewire. This printer has worked well for some years.
I tried to get it to network with Airport Extreme so a MacBook Pro could print. Not successful, now the epson printer will not work and doing Print/Fax add printer will not show the printer as available to add. I have uninstalled the Epson software and reinstalled it from disk. This has not helped. I have run the hardware check from the installation disk - all ok.

does anyone have ideas to try next?

thank you, Terry

Yes, this was the first thing I did.
The screen to add printer comes up, but the printer is not listed to add, just a blank screen when the default button is pressed.
thank you, terry

Not sure, but I think you missed my point.
Don't use the default button - click More Printers and select "Epson Firewire."
