I have two computers, one is an older and somewhat out of date emac PPC and a Macbook 6,1. I primarily use the desktop to convert my ever growing vinyl collection to digital. I spend on the average 16-20 hours a week doing this. Will the Macbook stand up to this amount of work?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I have lots of computers...but I use my MacBook Pro almost 90-95% of the time. That's 12-16 hours/day...7 days/week...for years (with rarely a break)...that my MacBook Pro is powered up & being used ("knock on wood"...no problems).

You be the judge.;)
