Using my computer outside during Summer

i plan on attending Wakarusa music festival this summer and am trying to plan it all out...
i want to bring my computer for playing music while im camping/not at the stages but am scared it will get over heated out there.
the general temp is around the 80s, but can often reach the 90s and occasionally the 100s.
i will be camping so i can use/leave my comp is shade, but it will still be hot.
is there a danger this can harm my computer? suggestions on how to keep my comp cool and safe?

It will be fine in the shade... Even with high temps, but as far as how safe it will be from people's wondering eyes and sticky fingers, that is another question

Exactly what I was thinking. Wayyyyy more risk of the computer being stolen than it over-heating!

Your computer (whatever that might be...you don't say in your post) came with a manual that spells out the range of temperatures that are safe.

Assuming you have some sort of recent MacBook, you would want to avoid temps above 95 F.

I'm guessing if it was stolen, it would be too "hot." (hangs head in shame) sorry...
