I have a macbookpro with snow leopard and it does not allow me to save anything on one account. At first I can save things like screenshots but after a few minutes i get message "your screenshot can't be saved" for screenshots or "the document can't be exported" for documents i want to save to my downloads folder. I already repaired disk using disk utility but i still have the issue. is there anything else i can do

Try booting with your Snow Leopard DVD and use Disk Utility to do a permission repair. Or you can download the free utility OnyX and repair permissions from there.

If that doesn't fix it, post back and we'll see about trying something else.
