Mouse always right clicking

Hello There,

I just started a new job and so I am on a Mac set up that I am unfamiliar with. I must be pressing something because every couple of days at random my mouse will start right clicking when I press the left click button. I go into system preferences and everything seems right but it obviously isn't. Am I accidentally pressing some sort of button combination that is turning some setting on?

When I restart the mac everything reverts back to normal.

Is there a more permanent solution other than restarting the mac?

What mac are you using? iMac (Desktop) or Macbook/ Pro (Laptop).?
If laptop then is it a full trackpad with no visible separate button? If desktop what mouse does it have connected?

Sorry for all the questions just trying to narrow down the problem

Whoops, I should have said those right off the bat.

This is an iMac - OS X - 10.5.8. I am using a Logitech Corded Mouse M500.

Hmmmm strange occurrence then.
Try the latest driver for the mouse, located here: Corded Mouse M500 if it happens again though post back and we will assist you further.

I downloaded the drivers yesterday and I had the issue again today.

Thoughts?
