Hey there everyone,

I have been having issues getting onto some websites (e.g. news.com.au), it takes forever to load, if at all. Other websites are fine, and it loads up pretty quickly.

Just wondering, if anyone can help shed some light as to why this is? It's incredibly frustrating.

Thanks.:)

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Just tried news.com.au on safari and no probs here.
Maybe try resetting safari and see if you have any joy.
Safari in menu bar>reset Safari, and check empty the cache and remove all cookies.
Then, try news.com.au again, and it should load a little slowly, then, quit Safari, and try again and it should be faster.

What OS version do you have, and what version of Safari.

P.S. This isn't an "Anything Goes" topic.

It's not slow here. It could have been temporary especially if you noticed it happening across browsers. If it is still happening, let us know.

Safari Browser does not load some sites.

Hey there everyone,

Question : Why does my Safari browser not load some web pages (e.g. news.com.au, etsy.com) or takes forever with minimal result. I tried clearing out cookies cache, doesn't help.

However, i tried some of those sites with my firefox browser and it loads just fine. I would prefer to stick to safari, so any help or advise you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still learning to master all the bells and whistles that come with mac. Love it. :)

Thanks for reading.

Sorry about that everyone. I couldn't locate my previous post and thought it was deleted.

I am using OS 10.6.6.
Safari version 5.0.3.
