iPod not syncing when off network

I am a system admin for a school district. I have a administrator that has an iPod that will sync when in school but not when she is at home. It works perfect when she is at school. Any ideas? She has admin rights and the latest iTunes version.

You can only sync to one system, it's a protocol set in place to avoid piracy. She will either have to use it at home or at the school.
