• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I'm using iMovie 9 on my kid's computer for editing my movies to put on youtube. When I'm making the movie, all the settings are to make it 1080p. However, once it actually posts to Youtube, it's only in 720p.

The weird thing is, when I edit the movie on my computer, which has iMovie 6, it will post on Youtube in 1080p.

What am I doing wrong on iMovie 9? From what I can tell all the settings are set to make it 1080p, and the video that is shot is in 1080p. And when I imported it into iMovie 9, I set it to "Full" movie, instead of just "Large."
