Hi All

Bought the new iPhoto from the App store to replace iPhoto 06. The new version is so buggy, that it is impossible to use it and it keeps crashing my machine. Contacted Apple and they have credited my account back - Great.

Next step, deleted iPhoto and tried to restore the previous version from my Time Machine, only it wont let me install a previous version. I get the message: "You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto".
Is there any way around this.

Thanks

I'll let the iPhoto "experts" chime in on this one, but I suspect you may have to remove the iPhoto library to a backup location first. Also, you may want to invoke the Spotlight search function to see if there are any left over files or processes from the new version that you removed.
