Hello All,

Is it safe to tun MS Windows XP Pro "Disk Defragmenter"?

I am running Windows on Bootcamp via Parallels.

Thanks!

??? Personally, I wouldn't run that defragmenter on my HFS partition.

Haven't heard of anyone trying it though either.

You could give it a try and report back to let us know whether or not it messes up your OS X install.

Probably make sure you have a good back up first.

As long as you're using the XP Boot Camp partition as a virtual machine within Parallels, it's unnecessary to ever use the defrag tool and as bobtomay indicated, it could be dangerous. So don't do it.
