Always wondered about this. No matter which PC I visit the Apple site on it is slow and laggy and freezes. Any idea why?

Could be the browser that you are using, or your connection. The Apple website always loads perfectly fine for me on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.

Out of curiosity, I opened IE9 Beta on my PC and went to Apple.com. It was slow as molasses in winter. I then tried it in Firefox and Chrome, and it loaded fast. For some odd reason, IE9 does not like Apple.com, or maybe it's the other way around?..

I am a Chrome user but

Never have had any problem with IE of any version. Prefer Chrome on both my Windows and Mac machines.

The short answer is that this is a conspiracy against you sir, in a plot to get you to buy a Mac. Forget all that photography stuff, get a Mac so you can browse the Apple site at normal speeds man !
