Interesting. So, I may be missing something, but why does it take apple forever to change the color on one of it's products? It's not like the internals are vastly different, it's just a color change.

If we get a July release of the next gen iPhone (AT&T), I sure hope white's available at launch.

Something about light leaks with the white shell or something..or producing the right color that matches the home button…I could go on as memory serves me.

I'm not buying that one freaky bit! Are they really suggesting that a 3rd party can come up with a GREAT front/back white cover, but they somehow are running into this with SUCH a big problem?! I think they just don't want to release it because they know people will buy the black one no matter what, and probably would upgrade again to a white one just for the color, in time.

I was one of the customers who was waiting for iPhone 4 white release... I still would love to have one. It is just a different color but it looks pretty cool to have a white iPhone since no other companies offer any white phones (as far as I know...) to begin with.
