i have heard in many places that you can boot a powerbook off of an SD card so i have an SD card and a PCMCIA SD card reader, i was wondering if anyone could help me format the thing, if anyone could recommend some software for os x that can format a drive so that it can boot os 8 (unless disk utility can). also if anyone could point me to a copy of os 8 as i have a copy and it should work but i am not sure

(thought you meant to run OS 8 on iMac...)

If you tell us which powerbook, exactly, someone may be able to help more.
Does the powerbook startup from the CD? (hold C key at startup?
