I would just like to confirm that you cannot capture streaming audio,
using Audacity, on a mac.
(Yes I know there is other software that does it. I plan to recommend audio hijack pro or Sunflower.)
This is for a basics audio class. After explaining how to capture streaming audio in windows, I expect the same question about audacity on macs.
I just want to make sure I'm giving out current information. Complex solutions are not an option with the group. Most of the students in the group are not tech savvy, which is why they're taking the class in the first place.
Thanks

No you can't. Audio Hijack is the one, as you have indicated, or StreamripperX.
