Snow Leopard problem

Hi all

how are things going? hope good

last night i used the software actualization and after de update download it started to install and crash at 98%

now my mac book after turning it on gets to the screen with the apple sign and load load load load and stays loading : ( after 30 minuts i forced to turn it of

its snow leopard OS

any clues?

i duplicated this topic in apple notebooks

What do you mean it crashed? It acted like it was doing nothing and you turned it off?

If so, and it was a 10.6.x update, you have probably killed your install of the OS.
I would suggest you restore from your backup - you do have a backup?
If not, you will likely need to reinstall OS X.

no, it showed an error and restarted by itself, i wasnt using my time machine for a long time so i think i will lose much date

i want to reinstal my Leopard.

when i put the Leo dvd to the drive i press the C when power on, it dosnet work nothing happens

What to do?

Describe hat happened. First you said you turned it off and then it turned itself off. Are you using Leopard or Snow Leopard as you seem pretty confused?
