Last week, my iMac (bought it in late '07, running Leopard) stopped working. It slowed down to a crawl, so I restarted it, but when it started up again, it couldn't get past the Apple logo and the loading circle.
When I turn it on, it loads for about a minute and then shuts down again. I've tried various tips I've found online, but nothing has worked so far.
The one thing I haven't tried yet is booting it up from the install disc, and that's because my disc drive stopped working a few months ago and I haven't replaced it.
