• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.

My school Macbook's webcam records text backwards. (It always has, so I assume this is normal) In the last few videos that I have made, this is kinda annoying. So I'm curious can I mirror the movie so the text looks the way it should? Maybe using Photobooth itself, QuickTime, iMovie, etc?

-Thanks

It's not normal huh? :| Well that's weird. I wonder why it does that then. I read it records backwards to simulate looking into a mirror? Anyway, thanks.

Sorry, I was completely wrong in stating that "mirror" behaviour wasn't normal. Of course it is.

Long ago, I set up a program called EyeGlasses to "correct" that issue and forgot that I had done that. DOH!

What I said about iMovie is still correct, however, so at least there's that. Sorry for any confusion caused.

Don't worry about it. :) Unfortunately the school has it so no new software can be installed on the computer, but I looked up mirroring in iMovie and it seems simple enough. Thanks for the help.
