As part of the 12 days of iTunes promo at Christmas I downloaded 3 music videos.

How can I delete them from my ipad.

I have one music playlist that syncs. They don't exist in there.

I have delete the 'purchased' type playlists and they aren't ticked to sync.

How can I get rid of them?

It's driving me nuts!

Assuming the interface is the same as the iPod touch, go to the video and swipe your finger over the top of the title, it brings up a delete button.

Thanks for the quick reply but sadly it doesn't work that way on the iPad. I've done that on my iPhone and that works, same as the iPod. But the iPad doesn't seem to work that way.

Cracked it!

You press and hold on the thumbnail and a X appears top left.

Strange iOS interface variation, but just glad I've got the space back!

Weird that it's different given the iOS, but glad you fixed it.
What did you think of the giveaways?

They were ok. More to Showcase what's available on iTunes for people that got new iPods etc at Christmas I guess.

But can't complain for free :)

Exactly. Certain things I left and some I grabbed for my daughter.
That said, no way was I grabbing the Duran Duran thing though, it's awful!

This is basically the difference between "tile view" and "list view". The iPhone uses List views for videos, while the iPad uses a tile-based grid view.

The hold and delete is the same gesture you would use for deleting apps on the home screen, and this works for photos as well.
