I may be crazy, but is there a way to use my iPad as a peripheral to my macbook for Keynote presentations?

My ideal situation would be to have my macbook "driving" the presentation on the LCD display or projector and my ipad would function as the presenter notes or next slide preview. Additionally (and probably more importantly), I'd like to use my ipad to highlight (laser pointer) and draw on (similar to a telestrator on ESPN) on my slides as they are displayed.

To really round out my wish list, would Keynote '11 with airplay hurry up already!!

Is this possible or too much to ask?

Thanks!!

I can answer your first question!

I believe that for the iPad you can get a Video output adapter (I may be wrong but i am sure I saw one somewhere) Check on the Apple website !
