Microphone Problem Macbook

I've recently bought a new microphone (Amazon.com: GE 98950 Detachable Desktop Microphone: Musical Instruments), and am trying to use it as an alternative to my laptop microphone, since the fans on it always make my voice unclear. However, on Windows (through bootcamp of course), I can't seem to get the computer to hook up with the microphone.

Any ideas?

Have you installed all the bootcamp drivers on the windows side?
Boot into windows, insert your mac OSX disk, autorun it and it should install all the bootcamp drivers.

the macbook pro had a bootcamp driver update recently to fix issues for the audio jack. have a look on software update for it.

Also look through Windows Update for any bootcamp updates on that side.
