Uninstalling

I isnstalled the Mac OS9 that came with my OSX installation and it wasnt working when I tried useing it, so how do I uninstall os9 so I can start over?

If there is a "System Folder" on your hard disk, drag it to the Trash and delete it.

That's it.

Important warning: Do not try to remove the "System" folder, which is part of OS X. This folder has a blue X and contains another folder called "Library." Removing this folder will cause serious problems.

When I try to delete it, I get a dialog box that says "The operation cannot be completed because "System Folder" is required by system"

Sorry, you have to Trash everything from inside the System Folder (Command-A, Command-Delete) and reboot before you can remove the System Folder itself.
