Can anyone tell me please if there is a way, using iMovie ('09 or '11), of taking a video clip and having it fade away to nothing.

At the end of a long video I have edited, I really wanted to superimpose text saying "The End" on the final 15 sec clip (I've done that okay) and then have that final clip gradually fade away to nothing.

Any way of doing this?

Thanks.

Ian

Add a dissolve to the end. Set the dissolve to however many seconds you want it to be. Without a link to another video, it just fades to black.
