I was wondering if there was a way to reply to an email, but instead of a new window opening to reply have it open in the preview field that takes up a little bit of space from the mailbox itself? Thanks

I was under the impression that the interface was designed so that bottom section was for 'display only'.

I doubt that you would be able to use it as a reply window for that reason alone.
