How do you open "terminal"? I have tried looking under Go/Applications and Go/Applications/Utilities. But there is nothing listed for "terminal".

I am using OSX 10.5.8.

Type into spotlight (top right corner) "Terminal" without the exclamation marks, it should bring up the application form there.
Hope this helps

I tried that but it doesn't find "terminal" (without the quotes).

Terminal.app is located at /Applications/Utilities. If it's not there, it has been moved or deleted. Have you moved/deleted anything from that folder recently?

I'm not aware of ever deleting anything from Applications/Utilities. I know it is in the system because I can see it in Apple/Recent Items and if I click that then it brings it up.

Then it's simply been moved. Do a search for it using Spotlight - type in Terminal, wait for it to show up, mouse over it and let the tooltip tell you where it is.

Then just do a good ol' find in Finder and make sure it's searching your whole computer.

Ahh ... Finder found it on my Desktop. I had so much junk there I didn't see it. I must have moved it there from Utilities instead of copying it. I'll move it back to the utilities folder.
