I dropped my macbook at around Christmas. It didn't work so I got a new hard drive and now it works perfectly. However I'd like to get the bent screen and uderbody fixed. It's a 2008 macbook without applecare, what should I do?

You will have to pay for a new case for you Mac Book. But before you pay for anything sometimes your renter's or homeowners insurance might cover accidental damage. I would check into that before paying for repairs. Good luck!

And hold your breath when you ask the Apple reseller for the price of a new case. Might be cheaper to look at a new machine.
