• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I am very new at this so please be patient. I have a GoPro HD video sport camera. I use it to film motorcycle rides. I think it does so in the MP4 format. I have been sucessful downloading videos to metacafe and sharing them. I am now ryig to learn how to download music to the video clip and I think I have accomplished that task. I do this in I Movie. However, after I finished with the video in I Movie and I go to metaafe to upload it rejects the format, looks like it is in a mv4 format, I get a rejection email saying it is in the wrong format and it gives suggested ones. I think the format was ok before I went to I Movie to add music and now it looks like it may have changed. Can I change the format, how and did I do something wrong? Thanks.
