So Ive got my new IMac 27- what a Christmas present. Still a bit of a newbie tho. I want to add an additional monitor. I was in possession of a HP w19 and tried to hook it up after I bought the MiniDisplay port adapter. It did not recognize the display. I tried unhooking all the cords-powering everything up at different times etc. No Luck. My HP monitor said Warning Input Not Supported. ?? Problem is: I cannot change anything on HP monitor because menu doesnt work when no input into monitor...
Any help on HP monitor would be awesome. If not I would love to know the best monitor I could buy to seamlessly hook up to my IMAC.
