So I have a nice set of BOSE external speakers that I bought awhile back for my desktop. They sit on my desk right next to the computer. Recently, I moved them to where my MBP is so I could plug them into it. I am just wondering, could the vibrations coming from the base of the speakers harm the Macbook?

I don't think so. Having a sub-woofer pounding away on your desktop is liable to do more harm to your hearing than the MBP. :p

Probably not vibration unless it is moving stuff across your desk. Keep your computer away from the sub woofer because of the magnet.

Yea I mean like there a good 6 inches away from the MBP itself. And they weren't blaring TOO loud...But like they were loud enough to wear the base could be heard a few rooms away. But thanks for the replies guys.

I wish I had a sub woofer for my computer ;D. It would make my sister jealous.

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
As Ivan mentioned, keep them away from your computer.... the magnets will cause damage to the screen, and perhaps even the internal components too.
I would keep it further than 6 inches away personally if possible.
