Can iphone & ipod sync in same itunes account?

I currently own an ipod touch but may be getting an iphone now that verizon will be carrying it (yeah!). . . Will I be able to sync both my ipod touch & my iphone to the same itunes account on my MacBook Pro?

Thanks for the quick reply! Will this be easy to do? Is there anything special I need to sync both devices or do I just plug each one in separately?

Just plug them in. iTunes will deal with them both separately.
