Whenever I see a post on facebook via an iPhone, it say's 'posted via iPhone' Whenever someone posts via a blackberry, or windows phone you get a snazzy little logo? I think HTC say's 'via mobile web'

But anyway - the point of this thread is to see if anyone knows why the guys at Apple don't want, or seem that fussed about having the logo all over facebook?

I sort of thought that was the fb app not the phone itself.

It would be the App, don't ask me how it works, but I'm sure Apple could have a logo there if they wanted to? I guess there has to be some sort of communication between facebook and Apple to make the App work properly, and if the others can have a logo, then why not.....?

Either that or the facebook people don't want the Apple logo on facebook.

But they're happy to have the words 'via iPhone' and windows / blackberry logos all over it? It just doesn't make sense....!

My Android sometimes said "via mobile web" and sometimes "via Google Android" with the Android logo... Not sure why Apple doesn't want it, that's bizarre.

A friend of mine has a HTC sense, I noticed a post from her today saying 'via HTC sense' the other day it was 'via mobile web'

Weird, I wonder what it will be tomorrow?!
