USB/Midi question

Hello

Could someone please help me with a cable/cord issue for the Macbook Air? My question is, I need to know what cable will connect my Macbook with a portable keyboard? I believe the one end is the USB which goes into the computer and the other would be the square type connection for the keyboard. Any help would be go helpful. Thanks and Happy New Year. Milan

if its a USB keyboard, i believe a macbook air has a USB 2.0 connection, and commonly USB keyboards are mini-USB or USB 1.1.

So this would be a USB connection at the laptop end and sort of a square (it says USB on back of the keyboard) correct?

yeah usb 2.0 is a rectangle shap, and usb 1.1 is like a square with rounded edges.



however i would need to see your keyboard to see if it fits.
