I think it's more likely to be parts from the Verizon iPhone 4 then the iPhone 5.

That is very plausible. Lord knows that Apple needs to ditch AT&T

I'm actually happy with AT&T for now, but I want apple to release a Verizon iPhone simply to spread the iPhone beyond its very limited customer pool in America. Plus it would be nice to relive some of the stress from AT&T's cell towers.

Why would they "ditch" AT&T? They have fine coverage and decent pricing (especially compared to VZW pricing).
Now, expanding to more carriers would be a sensible move. But not simply dropping one for another.

I don't know
Apparently the video was taken down due to a complaint from Apple. Why would Apple want it taken down if it were just one of the thousands of photoshopped fakes out there?

I have heard that in the past apple has asked sites to take down information, even if it was false, just to throw people off (ie make them think that the info is real)

I think it's authentic. Yahoo doesn't post things that they can't verify, or things they deem to be fake. From what I have heard, AT&T has rotten service. Just not where I live (larger city).

You have "heard" wrong. I travel all over the US and AT&T seems fine to me wherever I go. I'm quite happy with their service to date.

As for Yahoo, they can't monitor everything that people upload or post so using their "integrity" as evidence of authenticity is a bit silly.

I would like Verizon to accept and play the Apple game Apple's way. For 3 reasons.
1. There is big money in it for Apple.
2. There is big money in it for Verizon.
3. A little vendor competition never hurt anyone and is ultimately good for the end consumer.

Competition for AT&T would be good for us as consumers, and it would be good to spread the network load around to other carriers. I'm still impressed with how AT&T has been coping with the load that the iPhone has put on their towers. Obviously they haven't handled it perfectly in all areas, but I think they've done a great job.

If Verizon doesn't cripple it wondering how they will handle the load.

wow, a spectacular non-news post. you guys need to get out more.

Your comment is wrong by definition. And who is sadder, someone commenting on something or someone commenting about commenting on something?
