Heya
Ive got a 2008-2009 model macbook white.

A couple of months ago i brought a kingston 2gb ram module
I put it in and let one of the 512mb modules in there.
So i had 2.5

The other day i ordered a 1gb ram and it arrived. I took out both ram modules out of the mac to see which one was the 512 so i could swap that for the new 1gb.

I put both the 2gb and 1gb back in and it did the three long beeps and wouldnt boot up.
I tried putting in the 1gb and 512 and it works.
I tried each one on its own and the only one that didnt work was the 2gb?!?!
I have no idea what this could be seeing as it worked ten mins before?

Would love some help?
I would send the ram back to the people i brought it from but i cant remember where i brought it from and what email address i used.

Thanks for your time
Will

Your Mac's Specs
Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Could it be that you accidentally damaged the 2GB stick's pins when you reseated it?
