When my Outlook Express mail was transferred to my new iMac last year, I noticed some odd looking folders amidst my self-created folders. There are about a dozen of them, all titled sequentially as "Search Folder (1).mbx" "Search Folder(2).mbx, etc. When opened, all it shows is Date Received. is it OK to delete these folders?? or do they secretly hold email data that I'm not aware of. -Rivergull

Moved to correct forum.

If the mbx folders are empty, you can delete them. However, make sure you have all your email moved from Outlook Express to Mail.
