Genuine Apple is the best way.
A battery is a very crucial part of a computer and it's one of those things that I would never go with a non OEM battery.

Yupp...Apple battery is the best (but also the most expensive). You can try other brands (but from many users comments), when you pay less...you get less.

The folks at Other World Computing sell replacement batteries for Apple portable computers. Their prices are less expensive than Apple's. Stay away from buying a replacement battery from eBay. They may be cheaper, but won't last very long and can actually do harm to your machine.
