Hi,

I'm running a PowerBook G4 Wirelessly on OSX 10.4 with an Airport Extreme card.

The wireless signal is poor compared to my PC laptop (PC = 4 bars, Mac = 1 bar)

Can anyone recommend me a good USB Adapter for my PowerBook?

Thanks

Your Mac's Specs
C2D 2.26 | 500GB Seagate Momentus | 2GB 1066 (soon to be 8)
It's probably because the powerbook is only a G signal while the PC is N....

Have you actually measured the bandwidth you're getting with each computer?

1 bar on the Mac compared to 4 bars on the Windows computer may bot be a s big a difference as it seems. In other words...4 bars on the Windows computer does not necessarily mean that it's 4 times faster compared to 1 bar on the Mac.

The Mac's connection is intermittent, whereas the PC's connection is stable.
