Folder Does not Clean Up

27" iMac, 13 MacBook Pro, 11" MacBook Air, 64G iPad, iPhone 4
i have an iMac running latest OS X. Every time I open my Documents folder all the various folders inside are shown in a mess overlapping each other. selecting Clean Up or Arrange By sorts them out but the next time I use the folder they are a mess again.

No other folders on my computer have the same problem. Does anyone have any idea why just this folder does this?

If you are doing the Arrange By with a right click, it's only temporary. That's by design. If you want it to be permanent, open Show View Options and change it there.
