Can you use bundled Leopard disc on iMac G4?

Im trying to use the bundled Leopard disc (10.5) (the grey one) that came with my intel 24inch iMac to install Leopard on my daughters G4 iMac 1.25ghz

When I try to install it .... it says: this software cannot be installed on this computer.

The G4 mac meets all the requirements to install this software.

Any ideas of what going on?

Yes...the gray discs are model specific...and thus only work on the Macintosh model they were bundled with.

You need to go out and purchase a full retail install version if you want to update her machine to leopard OS X.5. Hold your breath when checking prices!

Yeah. You're trying to get something for nothing. Apple has figured out one way to prevent that. Just buy her a new Mac! ;)
