I cannot import any of my videos shot on my iPod touch to my Mac using iMovie '11. This is the only method I know of. When I try to import, it says:
"Can't Create Event"
"The import was canceled. You may not have permission to write to /Users/admin/Movies/iMovie Events.localized/..."
I just upgraded to iLife '11 last week, and had similar problems exporting photos out of iPhoto '11.
In iPhoto '11 I repaired permissions and had no luck exporting any photos that have been edited.
If I'm not mistaken, doesn't iMovie '11 have a permission repair option I can select when first opening?
