Hi
Recently bought a 2nd hand Powerbook, which included its original Tiger install discs, but the machine came with Leopard installed and I have no install discs. I've been using the machine and have backed up via TimeMachine.

A friend has leopard retail install discs for his powermac, if I borrow his or even buy my own Leopard and install it will my TimeMachine backup work with the new installation.

Are there any other issues which may arrise?

Many thanks
Oldtimer

Yes, Time Machine will work with any 10.5 or 10.6 install.

Many thanks for that prompt reply.
Are there any issues with using a friends retail install disc? - i.e. registration and compatibility etc...

Regards
