How do I select several files that begin with the same file name? Old school DOS would use an asterisk as a wild card (copy red_car*.*) but I have no idea how to do this on a Mac.

Thank you

You hold Command and click multiple files. This is the same as Control on a Windows machine. You can also do the same key command from Windows, which is you click the top file in a group then hold shift and click the bottom file, and it will select those two and all of them in between.

If you use Icon View, you can select multiple files using the "box method".
