I installed a SSD in a MBP, formatted it into two partitions, one minimal for OS X, and the other one for a Windows 7 partition. I used the original Leopard disk with no problems, but when I tried to use the Snow Leopard upgrade disk I ran into trouble: the partition is no longer roomy enough. :sigh: If that had worked I was going to try to restore an image taken of the Bootcamp partition (with Casper 6.0) to complete the SSD.

Can I get 10.6 to install without more formatting? Will I be able to image the other partition if I do? If not, should I try to connect the OEM drive with an enclosure and import it onto the SSD? Is that possible? If I switch the drives and attach the SSD through the enclosure that would work I presume, but I'd really like to avoid swapping the disk TWICE more.

Any help greatly appreciated!
