Merging MKV files for 720p movie file?

I'm trying to understand how to watch these files (MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service), which seem to have been split into a bunch of MKV files, each containing either the audio or video track of the film. Most of them won't even play in VLC. Only the first one does, and it has video, audio and subtitles. Then the second and third do nothing, while the fourth (after converting it) is only audio. The seventh file won't even extract from it's RAR file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
