Macbook Pro coming out of sleep mode and reconnecting to internet.

I have a Mac Book Pro and sometimes when it comes out of sleep mode it will show an error message saying "working off line is checked". I then uncheck work off line and then get a message saying another computer is using the same IP address and I have to change it to get on. Does anyone know what is causing this? The other computers on the network do not have this problem. I am using an airport extreme. Thanks
