Hi there. I have a new Bose Companion 5 speaker system running on OS 10.6.5. I'm getting lovely sound but have one problem. The volume control that comes with the Companion 5 kit is not working. The odd thing is that the mute on/off feature on the puck works just fine. It's the volume dial that has no effect. It's not a killer since the OS and app (e.g. iTunes) volume controls work fine.
In another forum I saw mention of issues with 10.6.5 and this (plus other USB?) device(s), but nothing conclusive.
Any thoughts?
