Quicktime - aarrgghh!!!

Running 10.6.5 and can't seem to find a way of stopping quicktime from automatically playing downloaded movie files.

Can't locate a preferences pane

anyone able to help?

I don't want any to open automatically, I'd rather just choose as and when I want to play the files.

Open up Safari - Preferences - General tab - uncheck Open "safe" files after downloading.
