I'm using an Intel iMac with 10.4.11. Up until a day or so ago, I could view clips on youtube. Now I just get a black screen with the little round dots going around in a circle in the center. Suggestions on remedying this?

Welcome to Mac-Forums

Could be your internet speed not being able to load them quick enough.
What browser are you using? Make sure you have the latest flash plugin for it.

New Flash plug-in works.

Simon,

Thanks for suggesting I download a new version of Flash. It works!

For the future (and these will likely change), the system requirements for YouTube are as follows:
Macromedia Flash Player 10.0.22+ plug-in
Windows 2000 or higher with latest updates installed
Mac OS X 10.3 or higher
Firefox 1.1+, Internet Explorer 5.0+, Safari 1.0+, or Google Chrome
Broadband connection with 500+ Kbps

Source. Those system requirements aren't perfect (it works on Linux and in Opera for instance) but it's a good reference.
