My 3Gs seems to shut down anytime. Battery indicator can read 93% or 47% , doesn't really matter. This can happen while reading an email or using an app.
Does anyone here experience these issues?
In the Apple forum, there seem to be a fair number of people with these issues and yet Apple is silent.
Done the reboots, all that stuff to no avail....quite a pain in the neck.
Any ideas?

Yes it does

It is a cell phone signal after all. Circuits get overloaded, especially for data.

What version of iOS are you running? Try doing a full restore to see if that clears things up..

Regards

I am using 4.2.1 I will try the restore. I also checked for liquid exposure and the sensors have not been activated. I've been using the Otterbox Defender since day one and has never been dropped in water.
Thank you!

Yes, but it can happen just viewing my photos, on wifi too!
Multi-tasking is not utilized as I have closed all apps via double tap home.
I think the restore is what I will do before I grumble any more!
Thanks!

Try a restore and see what happens. Could just be a corrupt file.
