Hello,
I recently inhierited a Macbook Pro 15" Unibody 2.66ghz mid 2009. OSX10.6.4

My mom spilled coffee on it. Now the airport card doesn't work. Everything else seems to work fine. I am unfamiliar with Macs so I don't really know how they are built internally. I am not sure if the airport card is completely independent of the logic board.

Currently the MBP will find any router in range. These are not networks that it has previously connected to but new ones. It will attempt to connect then the "connection times out". It does this every time. Doesn't matter what router or encryption or settings I try. It will not connect even though it sees the router.
Should I replace the airport card? Anything else I should try first?

Any other info is always helpful.

Thanks.
